Austin Dog Parks Near Bee Cave
Most parks around the city allow dogs as long as they are on-leash and the owners clean up after them. There are also currently 12 off-leash areas throughout the city. The closet one to Bee Cave is Red Bud Isle, a very unique 13-acre island in the middle of Lake Austin. Beautiful cliff sides surround the space that is a dog haven with swimming holes and wooded areas to explore without the fear of traffic. Dog owners can also let their pooch run free at Zilker Park, Auditorium Shores or Emma Long Metropolitan Park.
When you want a variety of dog parks Austin is awesome. But if you want to stay closer to home you can always visit the Bee Cave Dog Park. It’s currently located at 13333-A Hwy 71 West, but it will soon be moved to become part of Bee Cave Central Park.
