Acorn Cup Qualifying Weekend
Friday, August 2 – Sunday, August 4 ~ All Day
This is the second to last weekend to attempt to qualify for the prestigious Acorn Cup. Players may attempt to qualify as many times as they wish for a predetermined number of spots within each team, based on handicap. All qualify attempts must be played with another member of Spanish Oaks. $30 per qualifying attempt. Please check in with a Pro at the First Tee to receive your official scoreboard prior to your qualifying round.
Course Aerification
Monday, August 5 – Thursday, August 8
Golf Course Superintendent, Kyle Caldwell, and our maintenance crew will aerify the greens and tees this week. Please note the club and course are closed August 5 through August 8 as our maintenance crew carries out this necessary task. The club will reopen on Friday, August 9.
Family Style Supper To Go
Tuesday, August 13 and Wednesday August 14 ~ 5:00pm
Chef Tripi and his team are preparing meals for you and your family this week, whether it’s for 2 or 20, we’ve got you covered. Your dinner will arrive at your home between 5:00pm to 6:00pm (non-Spanish Oaks residents, pick up is available). Please call Bethany for menu or to place your order at (512) 533-2339. Back to School FIESTA SPLASHDOWN
Friday, August 16 ~ 5:00pm
Bring the family out for our Summertime FIESTA SPLASHDOWN on the Club lower event lawn! We will have a huge slip-n-slide as well as many other water activities - sure to get your kid soaked with fun. Enjoy a kid’s buffet on the lower event lawn and at the Clubhouse the culinary team will present a fabulous Fajita buffet. Bartender Nick will be serving up a variety of Margarita specials for the adults and of course we will have live music to set the mood. Bring plenty of towels and a change of clothes for the kids.
